The responsible person must ensure that his/her employees are provided with adequate safety training when they are first employed and the training must be repeated periodically.
The training must include suitable and sufficient instruction and training on the appropriate precautions and actions to be taken by the employees in order to safeguard themselves and other relevant persons on the premises. It should be adapted to take account of any new or changed risks to the safety of the employees concerned and take place during working hours.
We provide a range of certificated fire training courses which will enable employers to meet their responsibilities for training staff in accordance with the Fire Safety Order.
Training courses are normally held on the customer’s premises and can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual customer and satisfy the legal obligation placed upon them by current fire legislation.
Wherever possible our courses are reinforced with a practical demonstration in which delegates are able to extinguish live fires using a range of different extinguishers.
